Our Mission

The purpose of the Epiphany Ministry of Alabama, Inc. is to manifest God’s love to incarcerated youth with a three-day short course in Christianity and a continuous follow-up program.

Who We Are

Epiphany is an ecumenical Christian ministry for young men and women in the custody of the Department of Youth Services (DYS).

 

What We Do

Each Epiphany weekend depends on a team of adults from the Christian community to work together to show the LOVE of God to the attending youth who are called STARS. 

The STARS attending an Epiphany weekend will receive God’s LOVE through witness, worship services, music, drama, food, and sharing at family tables.

The Epiphany weekend is modeled after other 3-day weekends such as Walk to Emmaus, Cursillo, Chrysalis, Kairos, Happening, and Cross.
